Final Notes:
The course covers the key coat making processes as listed in the eleven workshop descriptions above. It does not cover all steps in the coat making process, due to aiming to create a course that is both affordable and time efficient. Those wishing to learn all steps can do so through additional reading or via one to one tuition sessions. Please contact me if you would like more information or guidance on this.
Recordings are available to rewatch for a period of a year.
Each workshop takes place live and is recorded via Zoom.
These workshops are designed to work around your lifestyle. You can come to all of the lives or watch the recordings afterwards, if you're in a different timezone or have other commitments. You can take on a coat making project, do samples instead covering the techniques or just come and watch.
The coat making techniques we will be covering apply for both female and male jackets.
The coat we will be making is a traditional Savile Row single breasted peak lapel suit jacket. Style details like lapels, length and pockets can be altered to your own preferences.
