TEACHING
Laura offers one to one tuition, both in person from her home studio based in Balham, South London and virtually via Zoom.
Sessions typically occur once a week at a regular timeslot and last for a period of three hours.
This time can be spent working on a project or area of your choice, however it’s recommended to work either on a making project, for example how to make up a Savile Row bespoke jacket to a block pattern or to combine a cutting and making project, by going through the process of taking your measures, drafting a pattern to your size, toiling, fitting and then making up a Savile Row bespoke jacket to fit you.
The sessions are relaxed and move at your working pace. Students can either learn about a specific area of tailoring by completing a one off session or go through the whole process from start to finish, over a longer period of time.
One to one sessions are priced at £65 per hour.

As well as one to one tuition, Laura also hosts tailoring workshops and has done this both online and in person at spaces such as The Design Museum and Somerset House.
These two hour workshops have been recorded and are available to purchase for the cost of £45 each from the ‘Shop’ section on the site. Alternatively if you choose to purchase all past recordings as a package a discount of 15% will apply.
Available recordings include; an introduction into bespoke tailoring, canvas construction, canvassing, jetted pockets and flaps, out-breast pockets, facings, collars, sleeves, an introduction into trouser making, shaped trouser waistbands, trouser making and inseam trouser pockets.
